These terms apply when you use PayPerWatch ("the service"), run by the PayPerWatch team. By connecting a wallet, adding funds, watching or publishing, you agree to them.
What PayPerWatch is
PayPerWatch is software that lets viewers pay creators in USDC for the seconds of video they watch. Payments run through a smart contract on the Arc blockchain. We never hold your private keys, and we can't move funds out of your wallet.
Your wallet and your funds
- You're responsible for your wallet, its keys and its security. We can't recover a lost key or reverse a blockchain transaction.
- USDC you add sits in the PayPerWatch contract. You're charged only for what you watch, at the price the creator set.
- You can withdraw what you haven't spent. A withdrawal is ready 24 hours after you request it, so payments for what you just watched can settle first.
- Blockchain networks, wallets and USDC are run by third parties. Outages, fees or changes on their side are outside our control.
Watching and downloads
- You pay for each second of a video once. Prices are shown before you watch.
- Downloads are for your own offline viewing in the app. Don't copy, share or resell videos.
Publishing videos
- Only upload videos you made or have the rights to sell. You keep ownership of your videos. You give us permission to store, stream and show them, and to sell access to them on your behalf, until you delete them.
- You set your price. We keep the platform fee shown when you publish (currently 5%), and the rest goes to your wallet.
- Don't upload anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, content that infringes someone else's rights, malware, or content meant to harass or deceive.
- We can hide or remove a video that breaks these terms, or after a valid copyright complaint.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a video on PayPerWatch infringes your copyright, email ekumanzubechi97@gmail.com with: the video's link, what work it copies, proof that you own it, and your contact details. We'll review it and remove the video if the complaint is valid. Creators can respond to a complaint the same way.
Referrals
Referral earnings are paid from the creator's share, as shown in the app. Don't create fake accounts or self-referrals to earn them. We can withhold referral payouts gained this way.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". Smart contracts and software can contain bugs. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets, third-party services or your own keys.
Changes and contact
